Key Responsibilities - Define and champion the company's long-term technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market evolution across global data-center operations - Lead and inspire cross-functional technology teams, fostering a culture of innovation, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement - Oversee the architecture, development, and deployment of cutting-edge infrastructure technologies, platforms, and systems that underpin Digital Realty's global portfolio - Partner with executive leadership, product, operations, and commercial teams to translate strategic priorities into scalable, resilient technology solutions - Evaluate and guide adoption of emerging technologies — including AI, automation, and sustainability-driven innovations — relevant to data-center and critical-facilities environments - Represent the company's technology capabilities externally, building credibility with customers, partners, investors, and the broader industry community What We're Looking For - Proven executive leadership experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or equivalent senior technology role within data-center, critical infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise technology environments - Deep understanding of data-center technologies, including power, cooling, networking, and facility management systems, paired with strong commercial acumen - Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and retain high-performing technology teams across complex, matrixed organisations - A strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-range innovation with practical, near-term execution at global scale - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the gravitas to influence at board level and connect effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences - A collaborative, inclusive leadership style and a genuine commitment to developing people and driving organisational culture forward What's on Offer Digital Realty offers an executive-level compensation package commensurate with the seniority and global scope of this role.
